The Franklin Stools

The Franklin Stools

The Franklin Stools were Conceived to make a less labor-intensive (and therefore more affordable) seating alternative to the Franklin Series Dining Chair. Square steel tube cross bars provides extra strength, comfort, and a material contrast to the solid wood legs. Available in 24" and 30" heights, the customizable seats can have a leather seat or upholstered cushion added. Shown here in American Black Walnut, Ash, and Reclaimed Douglas Fir with oil finish.

San Gerardo Sideboard

The San Gerardo Sideboard subtly combines the Franklin Series legs and a pattern inspired by architectural iron work in commonly found mid-century Puerto Rican architecture. A solid Flat Cut White Oak carcass captures the doors with their carefully assembled pattern.

The Franklin Series Dining Table

The Franklin Dining Table features the patented Franklin leg design in 1.5" square steel tube. Incredibly sturdy, the legs are tucked in from the corners, allowing for seating around the ends and corners of the table where corner legs would normally impede. Shown here with stained live-edge Elm slab, the legs could be combined with virtually any suitable surface.

The Franklin Series Side Table

The Side Table, along with the Dining Chair, was the first piece in the Franklin Series. Customizable in its dimensions and materials, the Side Table is available in Nesting and Standard versions. Lacquered mdf provides a tonal and textural contrast to the oiled solid wood base.

The Franklin Series Coffee Table

The Franklin Series Nesting Coffee Table takes its lines and concept from the Nesting Side Table. Customizable in dimensions and material, it is shown here with an oiled Grey Elm base glass and pearlescent lacquered mdf tops. The Nine Sided Table offers a variations on the Standard Franklin bifurcated leg design, with a visible through-splines on the mitered corners and a round American Black Walnut with Ebony band inlay top.

Commissioned by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, these table sets feature interlocking circles precision cut from Corian, "floating" on the contrasting rectilinear solid walnut base. Customizable in size and color.

The Writing Desk, shown here in Oiled Grey Elm and American Black Walnut, elegantly stretches the Franklin Legs and braces them with an interior cross bar. Discreetly installed drawer slides provide the functionality and convenience of ball bearing technology. Also pictures with white lacquered legs and a oiled Grey Elm Top.
